Overview

What you'll be doing

Applying categorization, prompt engineering and generative AI techniques using ChatGPT to craft customer issue response for this simulated project.

Project Task

To get started on this project, we'll first be reviewing customer issues received through complaints we've received.

Keeping it straightforward we'll begin with only a few of the most common complaints which we placed in the Excel Worksheet attached in the Project Resources section to be categorized and addressed using prompt engineering principles and ChatGPT.

Each complaint will be sorted under one of the following categories:

Surfing lessons
Rentals
General

Next, we'll use ChatGPT to help generate the responses to each complaint using the following guidelines.

Starting with apologizing to the customer and thanking them for their feedback. Noting that each complaint is reviewed and considered thoroughly, and commit to ensuring a better experience the next time if they are willing.

If the complaint is about a surfing lesson, to make up for the complaint, offer a complimentary lesson;
If the complaint is about a rental, to make up for the complaint offer a 25% discount code for the next rental;
If the complaint is on general products, offer a 15% discount code on their next product purchase.

Where to write prompts?

Visit chat.openai.com or use the mobile app, and either log in or complete the sign-up process (which doesn't cost anything).
Enter your prompt into the message box on the main page of ChatGPT.
After ChatGPT generates a response, you'll have several choices: Input a new prompt, generate the response again, duplicate the response, or distribute the response.

Add the ChatGPT responses to all the complaints and the link to the chat history on the sheet.

When you are done download your Customer Worksheet and submit it on the submission slot.
